Scope of Project
The Old Main project was a design assist project. The project included removing the existing steam heating system and converting the new system to hot water. The plumbing system was also replaced with new systems including new fixtures in the restrooms. All major portions of the electrical system was upgraded for the new system. Air handling units were added for comfort as well as humidity control to protect the murals in the main lobby. The heating system was primarily hot water convectors in the exterior wall, with new supply and return piping. Throughout the process we offered valve-engineering ideas with cost savings to the project. The project was substantially completed in September of 2013.
