Testimonials
The Shippensburg Area School District has utilized the expertise of G.R. Sponaugle for several years. An example of their dedication and expertise, we had a major electrical failure at our High School. They replaced a 3,000-amp switchgear in the Shippensburg Area Senior High School 10 days before school was to open. The switchgear, associated panel boxes, step down transformers, motor starter stations and feeders were replaced, tested and brought online in 12 days. Without their dedication to customer service and expertise of their staff, we could not have opened our district in a timely manner.

G.R. Sponaugle is the primary Electrical Contractor for the host data center of Rite Aid Corporation. As the host facility for the Rite Aid store and distribution base, the facility is expected to be in full operation 24/7. Over the course of the working relationship, G.R. Sponaugle has embraced the requirement of supporting the power stream needed to fulfill the expectation of 24/7.
Their teams have successfully accomplished significant upgrades to the power train without incident. These activities have included Switchgear, Uninterruptible Power System and installation of upgraded Power Distribution units in the facility all without power outages. Each of these challenges required excessive planning and orchestration as well as extreme expertise to engineer power alternatives that would be constantly available without disruption.
